Black Women's Interracial Relationship

It appears to me that black women just look at the external and the apparent goodness and good intention in those they wish to relationships with., rather than understanding their perspectives on key issues. They see a man who is not a 'brotha' and you know brothers are always for the good of the sisters, right? But some black women see something that really is not there. They are looking for the "Michael Jackson" syndrome, the blacks pretending to be white.. How many white males pretend they are black?
Not many! Yet black women like the whiter shade of the spectrum.
As we say Goodbye to 2009 and welcome a new year and a new decade starting midnight tonight, here is a summary of some of the many discussions we have had on Black Women's Interracial Relationship in 2009. I have tried learning and I tried to communicate through these posts. Fell free to recap and hopefully project yourself into a better year ahead!

Will We Have America's First Black President?

How do racists, anti-Semites and all-purpose hate-mongers view the possibility of America’s first black president?If recent polls are to be believed, white voters favor John McCain over Barack Obama by nearly ten percentage points, but the McCain and Obama camps probably haven’t factored in the following fact: In an informal Esquire survey, three out of four white supremacists prefer Obama, while McCain is the clear favorite among black nationalists. (Sure, our methodology suffered from an extraordinarily low sample size--limited to four white supremacists and one black nationalist--but just because it wouldn’t fly with Gallup doesn’t mean there ain't a kernel of truth in there.) This is just one of many surprising views that emerged after we talked to extremists about this historic electoral showdown between a 46-year-old black man and a 71-year-old white man.White people are faced with either a Black Man or a total nutter who happens to have a pale face. Personally I’d prefer the Black Man. National Socialists are not mindless haters. Here, I see a white man, who is almost dead, who declares he wants to fight endless wars around the globe to make the world safe for Judeo-capitalist exploitation, who supports the invasion of America by illegals--basically a continuation of the last eight years of Emperor Bush. Then, we have a Black man, who loves his own kind, belongs to a Black-Nationalist religion, is married to a Black women--when usually Blacks who have 'made it' immediately land a white spouse as a kind of prize--that’s the kind of negro that I can respect. Any time that a prominent person embraces their racial heritage in a positive manner, it’s good for all racially minded folks.

In search of justice for the New Orleans 200,000
Brothers and Sisters,
When you get to Jena please tell all those Black people that when they leave Jena, come to New Orleans in support of the injustice towards the New Orleans 200,000! Tell them that Charles Rangel (D) from NY still hasn’t visited New Orleans and that over 200,000 citizens, mostly Black, are still displaced to over 5500 cities in America. Where is our justice? Where is the outcry over a government who damaged and destroyed generations of Black fiscal, cultural and historical wealth via political and engineering neglect?
Okay, I have just awakened and realized that i dreamed that people, especially Black people, gave a damn about the greatest catastrophe in the history of the country. I guess racism and levees don’t mix, or we just can’t put it together. I guess we don’t see that civil rights is tied to equal protection, protection in the judicial system as well as in infrastructure. I’m awake now and I apologize for thinking and questioning, because I know a Black man is not suppose to do that.

Distorting the facts about Barack Obama

In the last three months or so , Fox News has strongly suggested that Barack Obama was an angry black man. We kept on seeing the video clips of Reverend Wright at the pulpit. We kept on hearing about Barack Obama's "associations." We kept on seeing the distorting visual images as Barack Obama appeared on screen. Until this point, though, we hadn't heard a conservative (at least not that I've heard) come out and flatly say, Barrack Obama is an angry black man.
I think painting Obama as the "angry black male" is the right-wing version of the so-called "race card".Remember, we got eight years of Boy George Bush thanks to the fear factor. They are hoping to make it work again.
Matt Drudge on his blog put a picture up of Michelle Obama kissing Joe Biden, and Barack kissing Jill Biden. What's the message there? They want you to fear interracial relations. They are playing on that century old notion that blacks shouldn't be with whites.

Police shooting leaves Groom dead,

Al Sharpton and dozens of others were arrested on Wednesday in New York City during a protest over the police shooting of 23-year-old Sean Bell on his wedding day. The policemen responsible for killing Bell, who was unarmed when he was shot, were acquitted last month on charges of manslaughter and reckless endangerment. Sharpton and the crowd of protesters called for federal prosecutors to bring civil rights charges against the police involved in the shooting.

Sean Bell, 23, was killed in Queens on November 25, 2006 in a hail of at least 50 gunshots. The incident reportedly stemmed from an argument outside of a club in Queens where Bell was holding a bachelor party prior to his wedding to fiancée Nicole Paultre. Police were in the process of investigating Club Kalua for prostitution allegations when a domestic disturbance reportedly caused them to begin observing Bell and his friends.

According to police, Bell was involved in a dispute outside the club involving a woman. One of Bell’s friends reportedly yelled “you, get my gun and kill that dumb white bitch.” The comment was overheard by an undercover officer who then followed Bell and his friends to their vehicle.

Conflicting reports from police officers and witnesses paint a confused picture of what happened next. According to one of the victims injured in the shootout, officers failed to identify themselves when they approached Bell and two friends with drawn weapons. Some witnesses reported that the officers began firing immediately without warning. The police officer who began shooting claims that he saw a man in the vehicle Bell was riding in with a drawn weapon. The man supposedly fled the scene as shooting broke out. However, no proof of the man’s existence was ever found.

Investigators found no gun at the scene.

Prosecutors argued that Oliver would have found there was no threat if he had “paused to reassess” while firing the 31 shots. They said that Cooper fired wildly, with one of his shots even hitting an elevated airport train station. And they alleged that Isnora failed to display his badge in a clearly visible manner and wait for backup, and gave contradictory orders to Bell and his friends.

According to the police, Bell was drunk and was ordered to stop, which he didn’t do, and tried to run the police over in his car. He HIT AN OFFICER WITH HIS CAR and tried to run the others over as well. He was NOT shot 50 times. 50 shots were fired at the car and Bell was hit four times.

Bell was supposed to be married at Community Baptist Church in Jamaica the same day of the shooting. On Thursday night, that hallowed ground became the site of a spiritual rally of sorts as an entire city waited for a verdict that had been anticipated for months.

Inspirational words were uttered by the Rev. Al Sharpton for the community and Sean’s family.

The Detectives faced up to 25 years behind bars for manslaughter charges. But were acquitted.

This is a travesty of justice. Any decent prosecutor could get a guilty verdict in this case

THE REALITY OF MARRIAGE

Brothers, this piece of wisdom is NOT found in many marriage books…except in the Bible. Your wife is a direct reflection of Y-O-U. Thus, as a husband, it is your duty to train and mold your wife into being all she can be, to the glory of God and to your faithfulness as her husband. On the other side of the coin, the same can be said about your wife. She is to be your ‘helpmeet’, the woman who ‘completes’ your picture of all that you can become, to the glory of God and to her faithfulness as your wife. One wise woman remarked: “It is the DUTY of a wife to HELP her husband BE all he can BE!”I do realize that this kind of talk may spur some fireworks among some singles.Well, get married and see IF I am making this stuff up! Step up, marry up, and make your OWN marriage work! ‘Living together’ is NOT marriage. ‘Weekends at the house’ is NOT marriage. A ‘union’ with someone of the same sex is NOT marriage.That’s the ‘real deal’ from a Gray Head.The conventional wisdom of our day has women seeking to train men to whom they are NOT married to in the first place, and vice versa. Nevertheless, SHOULD you be blessed to get married, brothers (and sisters), school is in session 24/7. You will be training one another, and pouring your best qualities into both the relationship--and each other.Believe me, you will be tested on your wisdom.One fine evening, yours truly and my Queen were out on the town for a well-deserved evening out. Some sweet young thing crossed our path. Firm, tanned, and lovely. My wife asked me straight out (as only wives can do): “Well, what do you think of her?” Without thinking twice, I squeezed my wife’s hand. “I like what I’ve got…because I don’t have the time, nor patience to TRAIN another woman.”Do your OWN research and see if what I have written is true.One thing about being a Gray Head is that I know what works, and what does not. It boggles the mind the number of men and women whom I know, or heard about, who try to burn the candle at both ends--only to wind up ‘burning up’ and losing true happiness with their OWN wives and husbands.
